Privacy policy

Last updated: January 5, 2025

Stack Dyno is committed to safeguarding your data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details – name, email, company, and role captured via demo forms or waitlists.
  • Usage data – anonymized analytics (page views, device metadata) to understand site performance.
  • Support interactions – transcripts from support channels or sales conversations.
  • Demo workspace data – any sample datasets you upload to the playground apps.

We do not ingest production billing exports or customer data unless you explicitly provide it in writing for onboarding.

2. How we use your data

  • Respond to demo requests and product inquiries.
  • Deliver product updates, onboarding materials, or security notices.
  • Improve the marketing site and apps via aggregate analytics.
  • Provide support when you contact us or share feedback.

We never sell your information. Third-party tools (e.g., Formspree, analytics platforms) only process data on our behalf under strict agreements.

3. Data retention & deletion

  • Demo form submissions are stored for up to 24 months to coordinate follow-ups.
  • Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then aggregated.
  • Uploaded demo data can be deleted at any time by emailing privacy@stackdyno.com.
  • If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we suppress future sends within 48 hours.

4. Security measures

  • End-to-end TLS for the marketing site and demo APIs.
  • Principle of least privilege for internal admin tools.
  • Annual penetration tests and ongoing dependency monitoring.
  • Vendor assessments for any subprocessors that touch customer data.

5. Your choices

  • Opt out of communications via the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Access or delete your contact data by emailing privacy@stackdyno.com.
  • Request a DPA (data processing addendum) before sharing any customer data with us.

6. Questions?

Reach out to privacy@stackdyno.com for questions about this policy or data handling practices. We will update this policy whenever our data practices change and will timestamp revisions here.
